Minimum qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in planning and executing the governance of cloud adoption, IT transformation, and cloud migrations, including technical implementation
• Experience in program management, management consulting, and stakeholder management
• Experience of both Enterprise IT and cloud technologies
• Currently on a break from work for 6 months or more
   

Preferred qualifications:

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Certification or other cloud certification
• Experience working on data pipelines, data analytics, and data visualization techniques
• Experience working with a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team and customer base, and collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions
• Understanding of the broader cloud marketplace and the differentiators of various cloud offerings
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT and reporting/analytic tools, and environments

The Google Cloud Customer Success team is responsible for effectively introducing customers to Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace, and assisting them from inception to production. We solve challenging and complex technical problems, including infrastructure migration, network optimization, security best practices, and more.

As a Cloud Migration Consultant, you will work with customer technical leads, customer executives, and partners to manage and deliver successful implementations and migrations to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will help Google Cloud customers with current infrastructure assessment, design, and architect target infrastructure, develop a migration plan, and deliver technical workshops to educate them on GCP. Additionally, you will also lead the program management of multi-functional Google Cloud Delivery Center projects.

Responsibilities
 

• Interact with internal technical stakeholders to translate complex customer requirements into recommendations for appropriate solution architectures and consulting services.
• Engage with C-suite executives, technical leads, and partners to lead high velocity migrations to GCP.
• Create communication strategies, risk and issue management frameworks, status reports, project matrix, and track timelines.
• Specialize in the program management and orchestration of large-scale cloud engagements.
• Take various project requirements and organize them into clear goals and objectives, and create a work breakdown structure to manage internal and external stakeholders.
